Join Young Professionals in the DMV for a holiday soiree at Strand (Formerly Opera Ultra Lounge) on Friday, December 13, 2024. Kicking off the Army vs. Navy Game weekend, UPMIXER brings together NAMA, Do More Together, and Thursday Network to party with a purpose and give back to the DMV community this holiday season.

Meet us at the Strand, D.C.’s premier lounge, for an evening of cocktails, bites, music, and mingling with live DJs, as we gear up for this weekend's biggest game! Throughout the evening, you’ll have the chance to participate in Thursday Network's Warm Wishes Card Station to create holiday and winter-themed cards for the senior and veteran community.

Victory & Valor Viewing Party

Join the Emily JT Perez Foundation and the co-host the West Point Society of DC for the ultimate college football rivalry experience with an indoor viewing party of the legendary Army vs. Navy football game!

Salute To Service Gameday

Salute Our Servicemen and women and celebrate America’s favorite football rivalry! Experience the Big Game on the Biggest Screens and see America’s favorite rivals on our 18-foot Video Wall or any of the multiple flat screens on our 3 floors at this elevated brunch event with open bars on each level, high-end cocktails, and delectable dining. There will also be an after-party after the big game you don’t want to miss!

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15TH

Alumni & Families at the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC)

Join us for an inspiring and educational experience at the renowned National Museum of African American History and Culture. This special event, tailored for alumni, their families, and friends, begins at 11:15 AM EST on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the “Double Victory” exhibit, located in the Colin L. Powell Gallery.

At 12:00 PM, the event features a captivating lecture and Q&A session with Brigadier General Ty Seidule, USA (Ret.), a distinguished historian and author.
